Our 1st Anniversary

Today Heather and I celebrated our very first anniversary. Heather got a new bike for her anniversary gift so we rode our bikes to church this morning. That was fun, but a little hot and we did look a little awkward in our church clothes. :) We got a couple of honks. Heather is absolutely loving her new bike, she even wants to ride to work tomorrow which is 11 1/2 miles one way. I think she is a little crazy, but she doesn't care what i think. She is starting to get really good at riding, as you can see by her amazing speed in the pictures. We had a nice romantic dinner tonight at the house, rot poast, my favorite Sunday dinner. We ended our first annual anniversary by taking a night bike ride to the park. We had a great time. We sure are having some fun times together. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful wife who loves to have fun with me. We are excited for the many years to come. I love you Heather!!!!!

Happy Birthday MOM

Well the time has come again for another one of those unwanted b-days. I actually enjoy celebrating my Mothers birthday because it helps me remember what a wonderful mother she is. I honestly couldn't ask for more in a mother then mine. She has spent so many countless years in the service of her church, family and loved ones. I remember when i was in school she would make me breakfast and lunch everyday without fail. Even when i didn't even want breakfast she would still make me one of those great egg and cheese sandwiches for me. She went way over and beyond what she needed to be as a mother. Talk about living your life in the service of others. She is a prime example of that. I am so grateful for a loving Mother and I wish her the very best on this wonderful day of celebration.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEATHER

Yesterday we celebrated Heathers very first birthday as a married women. She seemed to have had a great time. My special homemade pancakes were served to her in bed. Yum yum! They were mighty tasty, I do need to work on the presentation of them though because they looked terrible, but isn't the taste all that matters? We both enjoyed the day off together shopping til we just about dropped. Then to top off the night we got all done up and went up to Hollywood for a nice romantic dinner at Miceli's. I tricked her into thinking that we were going to walk around Universal City walk for the rest of the night. Then I gave her a birthday card with two tickets to WICKED. Her face lite with surprise and excitement. The show was great just as we expected. It seems as though her 25th birthday was a success. :) Now I just need to succeed in 2 more days on our anniversary. Why did i do this to myself? :)
